Owner's Engineer for power system upgrade and expansion of Paramaribo and Nickerie, Surinam
The Caribbean Development Bank granted a loan to the Surinamese electricity company (EBS EnergieBedrijven Suriname NV) to finance a network extension which includes substations, overhead lines and refurbishment of small photovoltaic plants. Fichtner was engaged to prepare the tender documents and to assist during the tendering stage and later during the implementation phase of the project.
