Hydraulic capacity assessment of the Torata river diversion system, Peru
In the rainy season of 2019 and 2020, there was heavy rainfall in the upper and middle basin of the Torata River where the water level in the Torata Dam increased rapidly, overflowing one of the boxes. Fichtner Sucursal del Perú carried out a hydraulic evaluation of the river diversion system and evaluated the alternatives to guarantee its operation during the rainy season. It also designed the best alternative for its implementation.
