Technical engineering of CO₂ capture and liquefaction plant interfaces, Latin America

Fichtner was engaged by a major industrial utility company to provide technical interface engineering for a new CO₂ capture and liquefaction plant, planned on the plot of a cogeneration plant. In a first step, Fichtner analyzed the integration of the CO₂ capture and liquefaction plant by assessing potential tie-ins and calculating the performance impact as a result of the power & utilities supply to the new plant. In a second step, a basic engineering study for the identified interfaces was elaborated.
